GLUTEN FREE MOUTH WATERING MASALA OATS RECIPE

Masala oats is a delicious and healthy breakfast or snack option that can be made quickly and easily. Here's a simple recipe with some tips and tricks to make the perfect masala oats:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 glasses water
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrot
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp magi masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add onion, green chili, and chopped garlic. Saute for 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent, not golden brown.
  2. Add tomato and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes become soft.
  3. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and magi masala powder. Mix well and cook for a minute so that all spices infuse into the mixture.
  4. Add rolled oats and mix well. Cook for a minute.
  5. Add water and salt. Mix well and let it cook for 3-4 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats become soft and the water is absorbed.
  6. Garnish your prepared oats with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
