Ingredients
- 2 cups pasta
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (for boiling pasta)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 5-6 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 cup tomato puree
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 cup chopped capsicum (bell pepper)
- 1/2 cup frozen or fresh peas
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the pasta: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Immerse the pasta into the gently boiling water and follow the instructions on the package for achieving the perfect texture. Once the pasta is cooked to perfection, carefully drain it and set it aside, ready to be incorporated into your mouthwatering dish
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion to the pan and cook it gently until it turns translucent, releasing its aromatic flavors and enhancing the overall taste of your dish.
- Add the chopped garlic to the pan and cook for another minute, stirring continuously.
- Pour in the tomato puree and mix well. Cook for a couple of minutes until the puree thickens slightly.
- Enhance the flavors by adding a pinch of salt, a dash of red chili powder, and a sprinkle of turmeric powder as per your personal taste, creating a delightful culinary experience.
- Add the chopped capsicum (bell pepper) and peas to the pan. Stir well and cook for a few minutes until the vegetables become tender.
- Add the boiled pasta to the pan and mix it with the sauce and vegetables. Make sure all the pasta is well coated.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously, to heat the pasta through.
- Once the pasta is cooked and the flavors have melded together, remove the pan from the heat.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves on top.
Your pasta is now ready to be served. Enjoy!
