Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 potatoes

  • 1 tbs. vegetable oil or ghee

For The Dough

  1. In a large mixing bowl, measure out 2 cups of whole wheat flour
  2. Add a pinch of salt and gradually add water while kneading to form a soft dough.
  3. Once the dough is formed, cover it with a damp cloth and set it aside for 15-20 minutes.

For The Filling

  1. Boil the potatoes until they are soft and tender.
  2. Peel the potatoes and mash them in a bowl.
  3. To the mashed potatoes, add 1/2 tsp of red chili flakes, salt to taste, chaat masala, chopped green chilies, and fresh coriander leaves.
  4. Mix all the ingredients well to make a flavorful filling.

Making Aloo Paratha

  1. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and flatten each ball with your hands.
  2. Take one flattened dough ball and roll it into a small circle using a rolling pin, dusting it with wheat flour if needed.
