Dissolve amchur powder in 200 ml of water, ensuring there are no lumps.

Add 2 teaspoons of refined oil to the heated pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Stir in a pinch of asafoetida (hing) and saunf (fennel seeds). Saute until fragrant.
