Buttered Cauliflower Recipe
Instructions:
- Prep the Cauliflower:
- Cut the cauliflower into small florets. - Fry the Cauliflower:
- In a deep pan or kadai, fry the cauliflower florets until they turn golden brown. Set them aside. - Prepare the Masala:
- In the same pan, heat some oil. Add cumin seeds and allow them splutter completely.
- Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they become light golden brown.
- Mix in the ginger garlic paste until it releases its fragrant aroma, ensuring a flavorful result.
- Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the spice mixture, indicating that it's thoroughly cooked. - Combine and Cook:
- Add the fried cauliflower to the masala mixture.
- Sprinkle with salt, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Stir well to coat the cauliflower evenly.
- Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, ensuring the cauliflower pieces remain intact. - Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and a dollop of butter.
